Levels [1-9][10-19][20-29][30-39] [40-49]

Level 40 - An underground level
- What is that image?
- It is the logo used for stations on the london underground
- Is there another image you could find?
- Look at underground.jpg
- Note that there is something else written on underground.jpg
- It says "ex : circle.jpg"
- What is circle in relation to the London underground?
- circle is the name of a line on the London Underground
- What are the other lines?
- other lines include Bakerloo, Central, District, East London, Hammersmith & City, Jubilee, Metropolitan, Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, Waterloo & City
- There is an image for each line
- The clue says that its useful to go from point one to point two
- Find these points on the map
- Draw a line between them
- What does the line go through?
- There is only one station that it passes through
- That station is Oxford Circus
- What lines is that station on?
- There are 3 lines going through Oxford Circus, they are Bakerloo, Victoria and Central
- Combine these images and you'll read the answer

Level 41 - Clean up this mess!
- Move things around
- Move the man to reveal some text
- It is a letter substitution.
- What do you expect it to say when you clean it up?
- How about "The answer is ......."?
- After you substitute a few letters to get "The answer is ......." you should be able to see the answer

Level 42 - Relocation
- Look at the clue
- The clue says Ib->Dc, these are map references
- Look at the map and see where we're 'relocating' from and to
- It's a French puzzle, so its reasonable to presume that we're starting in France, not any of the other countries that are in Ib
- We're going to USA
- That's an odd URL
- What is a piece of computing equipment that is different in France and USA
- A keyboard is different in France than in USA
- What would ',qnga' on a french keyboard be written as if typed on a USA keyboard
- It would come out as mangq, so go to http://www.ouverture-facile.com/riddles/nox/sheep/chicken/mangq.html
- There is an error message so we're not quite right yet
- The error message refers to tree and stalk...
- Does mangq look like something from a tree
- A fruit

Level 43 - An eye for an eye
- Capture the image
- Brighten it up
- You should see 'left.jpg'
- Look at left.jpg
- What else might you look at? - Look at right.jpg
- This part is quite difficult, but you need to compare or combine the images
- You need to look at only those things that are different between the two images
- If you had an image editor that performed an XOR operation & you could align the images exactly you'd see the answer

Level 44 - Red
- You've done this before
- Look at the back of the cards
- Do the same thing you did for level 24
- queen of diamonds(5)=rachel=e
- queen of spades(6)=pallas=s
- king of clubs(2)=alexander=l
- jack of clubs(4)=lancelot=c
- queen of clubs(phone)=argine
- king of diamonds(4)=cesar=a
- queen of spades(1)=p
- queen of hearts(2)=u
- Note that difference attracts, sameness repells
- Break the letters down according to their colours
- red:ioeau
- blk:slcp
- There is one more red than black
- Try to spell something out
- Start with a red letter
- Two words
- You can spell 'usa police'
- Thave is a phone symbol
- What would you dial in USA to get the police?

Level 45 - Level 45
- Read the page source
- There is text written on the frames
- You need to capture the relevant frames
- Only the frames with letters on them are relevant
- Capture 6 frames with letters and greek letters on them
- You need to combine all the letters from the images
- Try copying out the letters and paste them into a new image
- They must be in their original positions
- How many of each greek letter do you have?
- Draw lines from points of alpha-alpha, beta-beta, etc
- Where do the lines intersect?
- The lines intersect letters that spell out 'ashes'
- In the page source it says 'url=word+46+.html'

Level 46 - Empty Space
- What is mentioned on the check?
- What is missing on the check?
- The forum is mentioned
- The signature is missing
- Take a look at the forum for this level

- There is a link there
- A link to http://www.ouverture-facile.com/riddles/signature.html
- Look at this location
- Take a look at the page source for signature.html
- You'll find top.png listed, so look at that image
- It looks normal, but it isn't
- Try filling it
- Open the image in MS Paint and use the fill tool to colour it in.
- You will see id=price
- The price is '31'
- Where have you seen 'id'?
- In the forum
- Go to http://forum.ouverture-facile.com/viewtopic.php?id=31
- Do what it says
- Add 8 to an id number
- Go to http://forum.ouverture-facile.com/viewtopic.php?id=39
- There are further instructions here
- You can't see them straight away

- There is a URL
- Just after 'thanks'
- It links to http://www.ouverture-facile.com/riddles/bravo.html
- View the page source
- You can see itsthebottom.png, so look at this image
- Use the same trick you used before
- If you use the fill tool as you did before...
- You can make out 'plural'
- Join top.png with its itsthebottom.png
- It shows 'mouse'
- But you want the plural
- What is the plural of mouse?
- The field to enter it into is on the check, where the signature would go

Level 47 - Caesura
- Why is the URL written like that?
- Why is there a dash in the image?
- You need to get rid of the dash
- Remove the dash in the URL
- Go to http://www.ouverture-facile.com/riddles/911/mice/television.html
- There's still a dash there!
- Did you get rid of the dash in the URL?
- Did you get rid of all the dashes in the URL?
- There is still one more there
- In ouverture-facile that is a dash
- Go to http://www.ouverturefacile.com/riddles/911/mice/television.html
- Look at the clue page
- Of course there is a clue page.. there's always a clue page
- You shouldn't need a link to get to it by now
- Go to http://www.ouverturefacile.com/clues/ctelevision.htm
- It says '.wav'
- What wave file?
- Surely you tried going to toothbrush.htm?
- So now download toothbrush.wav
- Do the same with the sound file that you've been doing with everything else on this level
- Remove the dashes
- Remove the blank spaces from this sound file and play it
- It says 'history'
- Go back to the first page to type the answer in

- It is latin
- What does placenta mean?
- Not in english, in Latin

Level 49 - File not found
- Look at the clue
- Look in the forum

- The attachment is 21.png
- Learn from the URL for attachments
- Get item 21 now
- Get http://forum.ouverture-facile.com/attachment.php?item=21
- Who is that?
- It doesn't matter... look at his beard!
- Brighten it up if you need to
- In his beard it says "Look at the description of this picture"
- Save the image to your hard disk
- Look at it
- Not the image... the file
- Check out the properties of the file
- The properties say: 'OF Logo - Homepage'
- Look at the logo on the homepage
- Download logo.gif from http://www.ouverture-facile.com

- Fill it in in MS Paint
- You can now see 'lafrance.html' in the bottom-right corner
- Go to http://www.ouverture-facile.com/riddles/911/mice/lafrance.html
- Is this another level?
- Is that even a shockwave file?
- What is the name of the image you're seeing?
- That name is similar to lafrance, but there are some letters missing
- The letters arne.png
- Combine the images
- What is the arrow pointing to
